Many people speak about the difficulties in their lives. To me, what they are really talking about, is their resistance to change.

Well speaking in terms of matter, energy, entropy and all that yes. However I still think that in terms of personality and awareness growth there are many people who are down right resistant...Who only see the world as it is and never as it has been or could be... but, as always, I could very possibly be wrong! ^_^

well Amber i'm sure you know scientifically we ARE constantly changing, even the hicks and hillbillies who seem to want to live in the past. who you are in this moment of reading is not who you were when you started reading the comment, and the physiological changes are universal within humans so i that sense at least, the statement holds water.

I have a sense Amber that Life evolves us whether we want it to or not. Some are very resistant to the change and change ever so slowly but, in my humble perspective, they are changing.

Is everyone with me on that changing is very difficult when you are surrounded by people who don't? I cannot wait for my big city move in the spring, it is so hard to be different when everyone you know thinks you are still the same. Earth to Hickville: people change! I am not always being angry and sarcastic! Grrr...well I am a little angry now... lol with that said, I can't agree with the "everyone" part of this one today, Roddy. Some people never change because they refuse it, they are "comfortable" in their little world, never craving expansion.
